Easter weekend is one week away, but Pompano isn't waiting - this Saturday someone put eggs in a pool and called it an egg hunt, there's a free festival in Boca with 100 vendors and two live music stages, a Pink Floyd laser show Saturday night, and enough going on to fill every night from Wednesday through Sunday.

Pompano Beach broke ground in December 2025 on the city's first-ever public skatepark - a long time coming for a community that's been pushing for one since 2012. The $1.8M project at Community Park was designed with direct input from local riders and will feature dedicated zones for skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter users, with features for beginners through advanced. Free to use once open.
